Services
PAS9980 and FRAEW
Garnered from decades of experience in the domestic and international fields, we have gathered information on facade construction techniques, the materials used, and the best practice construction methods. In addition to understanding the best practice techniques, we know how and where shortcuts are taken and can ensure these are picked up in the surveys.
Since the staff from LCC have been working in the built environment at a pragmatic level, building projects from the footings to handover allows the individuals to understand how the facade elements are put together and how these interact with the facade systems.
This knowledge enables us to generate an accurate FRAEW and EWS1 based on real experiences on-site.
External Wall & EWS 1
We can undertake FRAEWs and EWS1s from the position of a very deep understanding of what is required to be demonstrated to the authorities that require the information. This, combined with extensive technical knowledge, culminates in a comprehensive report.
Fire Guardian
A report on the passive fire protection on site is generated by a series of detailed site visits and a report generated at the end of the visit. An additional service can be undertaken for the 3D mapping and tagging of the asset. The services above can be offered to enable the end user an interactive asset map.
Principle designer duties
As principal designers, we must provide the client with expert services to coordinate the project design and risk. This is undertaken through monthly design meetings and risk register meetings to run through and close the anticipated project risks.
Golden Thread
The Golden Thread is currently one of the more complex aspects of building regulation on construction sites at the moment. We have the expertise to run through the process and guide the client through what needs to be done and at what stage.
We offer stage-by-stage guidance with practical assistance on best navigating the issues in question.
Advisory
Many clients are in positions where they are about to sell or make a purchase of a building. This is a high risk event, with much at stake. We are able to offer guidance on the elements that need to be considered in the sale from the perspective of the technical issues on the facade and in the building, and remediation costs.
